Trane Split Systems offer built-in quality and reliability. An indoor unit and its corresponding outdoor unit are connected by refrigerant piping (hence the name "split," meaning "divided"). The indoor unit consists of a fan, internal cooling coil, heating section, and filter, while the outdoor unit contains the compressor and condenser. Energy performance is similar to that of monobloc rooftop systems, with slightly more installation flexibility; this combination is designed for reliable operation and easy maintenance.
