Projerac ® was founded in 2002 in the city of Cuiabá, MT, by mechanical engineer André Nonato.

Since childhood, André dreamed of becoming an engineer, his favorite toys were always tools. His passion was also fueled by his paternal uncle, who shared the same love for the engineering world.

Firm in his decision, André chose to pursue his long-desired degree in Mechanical Engineering at UNESP – Ilha Solteira campus, in the interior of São Paulo.

Determined and goal-oriented, one of his main objectives after graduating was to leave his hometown, São José do Rio Preto–SP, and open his own air conditioning company in Cuiabá, a growing city in the promising state of Mato Grosso. His connection to the state ran deep, as he had spent many childhood and teenage vacations at a family property there.

A lifelong learner, André has always been passionate about knowledge and largely self-taught—an approach that has greatly contributed to the growth of Projerac, a company whose mission is to deliver excellence to its clients, many of whom become friends.
